Short version: CardioVoice does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data. Everything stays on your iPhone.
Nothing. CardioVoice has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no servers. We never see your readings, your photos, or any personal information.
The blood-pressure readings you record and the photos you take of your monitor are stored only on your device, inside the app's private storage. They are never uploaded anywhere.
CardioVoice uses your camera solely to photograph your blood-pressure monitor so the numbers can be read. Image processing (text recognition) happens entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. Photos are not sent off the device.
If you choose to connect Apple Health, CardioVoice asks for read-only access to your heart-rate data so it can show heart-rate trends next to your blood-pressure readings. This is optional, happens only after you grant permission in the system Health prompt, and the data is read and displayed entirely on your device. CardioVoice never writes anything to Health, and your Health data is never uploaded, stored outside the Health app, or shared with anyone. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app under your profile → Apps → CardioVoice.
The "Speak it" feature uses a text-to-speech voice bundled inside the app and runs fully offline. No audio or text is sent anywhere.
The wellness information CardioVoice shows about your readings is generated on your device from your own numbers. It is not sent to any server and is not reviewed by any person.
The only time data leaves the app is when you choose to share a report — for example, tapping "Share PDF" and sending it to your doctor through an app you select. That action is entirely under your control.
CardioVoice is intended for adults monitoring their own wellness and is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
